Day 01 Wayanad
The encyclopedia of a not-so-busy city, with trees and brave wildlife
Situated in the valley of the Western Ghats, Wayanad is a green paradise on the border of the greenest part of Kerala. Clean, beautiful, charming and wonderful, this land is steeped in history and culture. It is located at a distance of 76 km. From Wayanad on the Kozhikode coast, this hill station is full of gardens, forests and wildlife. The Wayanad hills are similar to Mudumalai in Tamil Nadu and Bandipur in Karnataka, thus creating a vast expanse for wildlife to roam in their most natural habitat. |
Day 02 Wayanad
It is located on a beautiful mountain plateau.
Wayanad in Western Ghats- Highlands, a significant part of the district is still forested. Spread over thousands of acres of tea plantations in the rest of the city, it offers a refreshing air and a serene atmosphere. The hike to Chembra Peak, which is popular with hikers, is an adventurous pastime filled with diverse landscapes, from lush meadows to dense forests and ultimately the heart-shaped Wayanad Lake gives insight into the way of life.
